Agricision, Inc' Founders
Meet Ken & Diana Warren — founders of Agricision, Inc.
Over 40 years of combined farming experience has given us both a passion for helping farmers, just like us, find a better way to manage pest and disease issues without having to risk bottom line profit or crop loss come harvest time.
In 2019, we formed Agricision, Inc., a woman-owned, farmer-led, AgTech company to bridge the gap in the agricultural analytical tools market by providing early pest detection of weeds, insects, and disease using autonomous drone technology to bring farmers precise, and accurate data when timing is critical.
The dream of Agricision, Inc. began in the spring of 2016 when Ken Warren and his wife, Diana, stood in the middle of a tract of land they farm wondering wondering how much crop they would have to sell come harvest time. Weeds were quickly choking out a section of their crops and if they didn't get control of the situation, their yield would be affected. Ken's 33 years of farming experience has taught him that crops require constant monitoring and attention throughout the growth process.
To get rid of the weeds, they had to spray. Although Ken had been spraying and scouting the fields for years, there was something about this particular day that was different. Because of the realization of waste and inefficiency, a vision was born that drove Ken and Diana to start a small, woman-owned business dedicated to providing farmers with innovative pest and crop management solutions.
With this realization, and an incredible team of talented professionals to back them up, the autonomous technology known as ScoutX2 was born! Our innovative method of pest detection combines the use of unmanned vehicles such as drones to identify invasive pests such as bugs and weeds.
